Asado Pig Roast on the Overlook with Chef Nate Gagnon - Oct 18, 2025

Saturday October 18, 12pm-5pm. This ticket includes event entry, the complete Asado meal experience including a glass of wine of your choice and shuttle service up/down the mountain.
 
Join us for this unique culinary experience with Chef Nate Gagnon, paired with fabulous wines, live music and shuttle service from winery parking area. Savor not only the food and wine, but also the vibrant fall colors at peak and panoramic vistas from the Overlook! The Argentine-style "Asado" is a thing to behold: a whole hog cooked over an open flame, culminating in a meal enjoyed by the fireside with friends (and great wine!) while enjoying live music. Chef Nate will start the fires for us the night before, tending all night long to the low and slow cooking of a pasture-raised hog from Oakshire Farm, just down the road from Ankida. How "Local" is that?!. 
 
From 1pm-4pm the meal will be served: "Asado" pig roast including sauces, Saffron rice, Spring mix salads, Grilled Ciabatta with olive oil, and Christine's famous Double Chocolate Brownies for dessert.
 
Live music by Mirabelle Metcalfe and Jordan Perry. Shuttle services will be provided, as the road up to the Overlook is 4WD only, and parking is limited. Shuttle will pick you up at winery or at your car if parked along the Ankida driveway. No lawn chairs needed.
