Lush, ripe pear and apple balanced with wet stone and bright acids on the finish. Aged in 10% new, 90% neutral French oak. 70% of barrels underwent malolactic fermentation, offering a nice balance between creaminess and bright acids. Aged sur lie for 9 months. Alcohol %
Crafted from a blend of Ankida estate fruit and grapes from our Amherst County neighbor, Mountain Terrace Vineyard, a beautiful vineyard we now manage, established by John and Char Baldridge in 1999. John and Char were meticulous in their care of ther vines and hand tended all aspects of viticulture, which we are continuing. Cheers to the vineyard legacy John and Char established.
